UNPLUGGED

I grew up before internet and mobile phones. My days were spent swimming in the river, feeling the warmth of our star on my skin, and reading books with paper pages, and trying to get the alternative radio station signal to come through on my ghetto blaster. Summer nights I often slept outside beneath the milky way, watching for meteors, and tracking the phases of the moon. Ever since a very young age, I have felt a sense of awe about our place in our solar system, galaxy, and universe.

My parents were (and still are) avid naturalists, and they inspired me leave the world better than I found it, and to share the beauty of it with others. I want to pass this legacy on, and photography is a big part of how I do that. One of my more unique skills is shooting the night sky, also known as astrophotography, and if you hire me to include some astro in your photo set, I’ll love you forever!

Who I work with: tourism boards, local guides, naturalists, foragers, adventure companies. I’d also love to work with planes, trains, and automobiles that have sustainability and conservation front of mind.
